got them mounted this evening at Costco, while I was waiting I found a sweet low profile jack for $100. It works pretty nicely!

As a fiesta owner, I must ask you...

How tall are you?

Will 6'2" leggy me fit inside one?

Should I go into debt to buy one?

I'm 6'4", I fit fine although if you grab the non-sunroof version you will gain even more room, I am pretty close to the edge of the sunroof. I would see if you can get a test drive.

As far as going into debt, we are financing about half of the purchase price (about $29,000 CAD, loaded) but we have enough money in the bank that we could pay it off if we had to, I'm not comfortable getting deep in the hole for a car.

It is much nicer than my old jack, I'll see how it holds up to my occasional use.

I've been to Team O'Neil Rally School where they have a massive fleet of Fiestas. I'm 6'2" and slim and had absolutely no problems fitting in. My head cleared the ceiling even wearing something resembling a bicycle helmet and having roll cage bars zigzagging about. The pedal placement in the manual is the best in any car I've driven (that I can remember), perfectly spaced out so you can use the brake with either foot.

I'll definitely be taking a test drive, and that test drive will definitely be in spring when A. my credit is better, B. it's warm and I can leave the house, and C. I'll have more money to throw at it. I definitely plan to finance as little as possible, but saving up ~25k would take me until.. say... next winter (unless I get that raise...)? Ugh. Does the sunroof cut headroom that much?

You would probably gain 2", I personally am not bothered by it much.

Sunroof > comfort, IMO.

Love that fresh air.

Does the FiST only come with that stupid auto climate control system?

My thoughts exactly.

I think so, but you can override it.

Good, because my (ex ;_;) gf's focus climate control was dog shit. That or she didn't know how to use it...

It seems to work well, in the summer it would crank for a couple minutes and then lower to an idle.
